About RedStudio

The studio behind the encore.

Press, owned media, thought leadership, events, and awards, run as one ecosystem by design. Built in New York, with women's health at the center of the portfolio.

Christopher Gillispie

Founder and Managing Director

Christopher Gillispie founded RedStudio, the award-winning New Media Studio for Health and Wellness Brands, on a suspicion the industry keeps confirming: the moment is never the problem; what happens after it is. As Managing Director, he builds the narratives and infrastructure behind the women rewriting health as we know it, and his work travels where they do, from national press to keynote stages to Capitol Hill. He learned the craft the scenic way: producing morning television, then shaping brands and communications at JetBlue, Condé Nast, and Virgin Voyages, with years as a private flight attendant in between. He never lived the same day twice, and he built a studio where that is still true.

The mission, though, is personal. Raised and shaped by strong women, Christopher came to women's health through a menopause nonprofit and found an inequality the system had learned to ignore; he has spent every day since making it impossible to. Off the clock he is a devoted gym rat, a New Yorker who treats the city as a standing invitation, and a traveler with more than fifty countries behind him. Bali and Scotland are the favorites, for entirely different reasons.

Alden Morikawa

Partner, Head of Owned Media

Alden Morikawa makes the moments last. As Partner and Head of Owned Media, she directs how clients look, sound, and publish across every channel they own, turning one interview into a library, and a library into an audience that shows up before the announcement. Her advantage is simple: she tried working for someone else exactly once, long enough to know it wasn't for her and not long enough to pick up the habits. An entrepreneur since she was nineteen, Alden built her own company and was running it when she met Christopher. The rest is the studio's history.

She is a creative straight through: hand her nothing and she builds something; hand her something and she makes it shine. She and Christopher are polar opposites in nearly every measurable way, which is precisely why it works. At home she is a wife and a mother of one, and she runs both lives with the same devotion, proof that building things that last was never just a job description.

Mary Puglisi

PR and Partnerships Manager

Mary Puglisi knows exactly whose desk a story belongs on. As PR and Partnerships Manager, she places clients where their expertise carries furthest: the press features, the podcast feeds, and the partnerships that turn a good story into a traveling one. A storyteller by instinct and a connector by nature, she is the studio's answer to the oldest question in the business: who needs to hear this first. What motivates her is the part most people skip, turning an idea into something real, alongside people worth building it with.

Mary studied at Virginia Tech, then traded the East Coast for San Diego five years ago and has been happily exploring everything California offers since. Off the clock she is planning the next adventure, at a live show, or writing, usually with her dog Hutch nearby, who she will tell you, unprompted, is her soul dog. Her operating belief travels well: the best stories come from just outside the comfort zone.

Ruzzel Miraflor

Social Media Manager

Ruzzel Miraflor runs the channels where every moment gets its second life. As Social Media Manager, she turns coverage, keynotes, and launches into the daily presence that keeps clients in the conversation, with a creative's eye and a logistician's spine. She is the one who finds every gap in a system, plugs it, holds the whole operation together, and then asks what else needs doing. Her workday begins in Manila while New York sleeps, which is exactly when tomorrow's conversation gets built.

Off the clock, Ruzzel trains in aerial acrobatics one day and climbs rock walls the next, then restores order with a beach and a proper spa day; balance is something she practices in every sense. Holding everything together in midair is, after all, her day job too. Ask anyone at the studio where she is headed and you will get the same answer: up, quickly, and with everyone's blessing.

Matthew Davidson

Video and Podcast Editor

Matthew Davidson is the reason RedStudio's clients sound as good as they look. As Video and Podcast Editor, he takes every episode from raw recording to broadcast standard: cutting the shows, shaping the video, and building the guest pipelines that keep client feeds worth following. In a studio that treats owned media as infrastructure, Matthew runs the part the audience actually hears, and he treats every episode like the flagship it is.

Matthew came to the studio the way the best people do: Alden brought him with her, a creative partnership so established that the two still live nine miles apart in Virginia. He is the calm in every production, the editor nothing rattles, and the reason clients relax the moment he joins the call. Off the clock, every story he tells eventually finds its way to a fairway; golf is the through line, and he is not sorry.
